ARAM BEDROSIAN
Aram Bedrosian is a Burlington-based professional bassist and instructor with over 16 years experience and an extensive musical education. As a soloist, he has developed a unique instrumental voice and after only a few unaccompanied solo performances in '06 he was supporting national acts such as Joe Bonamassa and Chris Wood (of Madeski, Martin, and Wood). His 2007 self-titled solo debut was recorded entirely with one bass and he's a former Guitar Summit winner.
As a band member, he has recorded and toured extensively with a range of regional acts including The Gordon Stone Band (newgrass funk fusion), The Turkey Bouillon Mafia (jam rock), Rumble Doll (rock/country/pop), Concentric (live electronica), Aaron Flinn (folk rock), Shard Villa (progressive speed metal), The Outer Bass Project (lead bass funk), and more. His work on the 2005 Gordon Stone Band release, “Rhymes with Orange", helped earn it "Best VT Instrumental Album of the Year" by the Times Argus.
In addition to performing and recording, Aram has been a full-time bass instructor for over 3 years and has his own teaching studio in Burlington, VT. He also gives lessons online via webcam and has had students from all over the world. www.arambedrosian.com
