gregGreg Matses is the owner and acting director of Vermont Rock Music Camp. He has been a familiar face on the Vermont music scene as a member of Tammy Fletcher & the Disciples, No Glue, the Shed Band and the Channel Two Dub Band. His distinctive style and diverse influences have brought each of these bands to new levels. A respected guitarist, songwriter and teacher, Greg's playing has brought him extended recording and performing stints in Los Angeles (where he graduated from the Grove School of Music) and Austin, Texas.

Having toured nationally with the Dude of Life and internationally with Tammy Fletcher, Greg’s reputation as a player has earned him rave reviews around the country and beyond. He has performed and/or recorded as a guest artist with Vorcza, Grace Potter, Francine Reed (Lyle Lovett Band), John Sinclair, Cleon Douglas (Jah Malla), Chad Hollister and Abby Jenne as well as opening for such greats as Buddy Guy, John Mayall, Black Uhuru, 10,000 Maniacs, Soulive, Edgar Winter, Leon Russell and Taj Mahal. Greg currently serves on the adjunct music faculty at Johnson State College and the Community College of Vermont. He has studied at Guitar Craft Seminars under the direction of Robert Fripp and the California Guitar Trio. He has served as director of the Vermont Rock Music Camp since 2002.
